Great drinks and foodie place. Amazing service

Some controversy about authenticity as it pertains how they do it in Germany. Standing in the crowded aisle at the bar, eyeballing the plates served, it all looked pretty familiar to my occasional visits to the Rathaus in Wiesbaden or the restaurant in Cologne or even the famous Hofbräuhaus in München. Schnitzel with fried potatoes (mit Bratkartoffeln?) and a salad. That's it. Let's not dismiss two little-known-to-Americans beer: Andechs from a monastery in Germany and the delightful thirst--quenching Stiegl from Salzburg Austria. Some owner knows precisely what they are doing. We get to pay dearly for a few moments in Deutschland in San Francisco. Just wish it weren't so noisy. Maybe that's authentic as well. Well not so much.

Great coffee shop with great tasting bread/toast. They’re coffee is very smooth. I enjoy getting their ice blended coffees! Mocha or cafe are both great. They also have matcha powder and an unsweetened option as well! Would recommend!

I enjoyed their espresso and there was good seating outside and they had a decent bread selection. I haven't gotten any food there but recommend their coffee. Staff was also friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the outside seating, not too loud, not too crowded.

I love going here on the weekends. Great staff. Lattes and coffee are great. Only place I know that has macadamia milk for coffee.

I also really like the staff. They are friendly and I'm not there too often but they remember my husband and I. It's a great local coffee shop.

I just want to keep coming back to this coffee shop again and again! I like the taste of their coffee and the ambiance because it was so relaxing.

Very well made drinks. Some are too pretty to drink. The noise level in the place can be deafening. The back room is kind of empty ... could use more table and chair.

The place's atmosphere is good. The staff are friendly and supportive. We also have comfortable chairs. The place is also very dry, great customer service.

Coffees and foods were both tasteful and affordable. A very comfortable place, nice environment. the staff is very hospitable, super-nice, and helped me with my every request. On their wall also, they have captivating paintings which are very good for picture taking. The wi-fi connections are very strong as well. Highly recommended!

Their menu is extensive and some part sizes are very generous. They served unique coffee as well. Also, their tables could offer a lot of space for people especially those who brought laptop with them.

One of the best Coffee shops around! Not only do they have outstanding coffee and do it right, they have a wonderful selection of breads to choose from. Depending on when you go you can choose from their seasonal selection. All is absolutely Great! Staff is on top of everything and you always get taken care especially in this unfortunate time we are all live in. Thank you

Great little coffee spot in the OC. Tip: Ask to hang upstairs. They have a nice little area up there.

It was our first time to experience the place but I could say that the place was very wonderful. If small floor space is full, you could ask the staff to go upstairs because it's a great way to rest from people who are busy talking and there, you could enjoy the view. Apart from good coffee, you will find here a nice selection of ceramics from local artists. Ideal place

This is my favorite coffee shop! I love a good cup of black coffee, and I haven't had better than Brot. I also buy their coffee beans and make my own coffee at home with a french press, and that does not disappoint. This review would not be complete without mentioning the amazing staff at Brot. Every single person who works there is so warm and friendly. They are like a family, and all of their customer interactions are so welcoming. I truly appreciate every experience I have here (which is a lot, since I can't seem to stay away).

Superb service! All the food, drinks, and desserts taste very good and yummy. Besides, the waiter that gets my order at that time was very accommodating, pleasant, and informative. He even greeted me "good morning" with a full of confidence and respect. While waiting, I take a photo of the beautiful design in their cafeteria. It was stylish, new, and clean. Overall, this cafeteria was excellent!

Lovely wonderful coffee!

The food and coffee was amazing. I enjoyed the TOM (tomato, olive oil, mozzarella) and an iced mocha. I also appreciated how they asked for milk preference, because even though I can drink normal milk just fine, much of my family cannot. Great place.

Good, but expensive. $.80 extra for Almond Breeze milk is quite an up change. I got the Kuhl (blended coffee drink that has Dr. smoothie mix, milk, espresso, flavor of choice) with almond milk and an iced Americano. It also cost me almost $10 with tip. Seems like a lot of people like the bread here, but I didn’t try it.

Brot Coffee went 3 for 3! My family fought over the cinnamon rolls (need to buy more next time); the barista/cashier took an interest in my day, even spelling my name correctly (all ten letters without even asking); and the iced white chocolate mocha latte was the best I ever had (I don’t want to go anywhere else)!

Brot has time of the best coffee I've ever had. They have a selection of coffee, teas, and bread. I love the Khul coffee with oat milk and a nice slice of squa bread with some butter and then adding some almond butter on top of that. I also love sourdough with avocado, and sour dough with egg. The owner manages and makes the drinks too, you can tell he loves what he does and has a passion for his craft. He also roasts ,grinds and bags the coffee if you wanna brew at home. Stop by and check them out.

It's a much better privately run coffee shop alternative from those mainstream ones.

When the average coffee wont do, try this place... The coffee is always good, strong but not bitter which I love... Definitely my go to when I need a good pick me up
